Is the eYellow Page web site part of the ClubRunner web site?
The eYellow Pages database is a separate web site and is not affiliated with ClubRunner or Doxess. It is accessed through a separate URL and is domiciled at a different internet service provider. However, the eYellow Pages web site at http://www.ypgeorgiarotary.com/ is a District web site, and the District web site provides a link to the eYellow Pages.

No, you do not have to Login to the District web site to reach the eYellow Pages.

Do I have to Login to the eYellow Pages?
You do not have to Login to view the site or search for a company or individual Rotarians. However, you must
Register
if you wish to enter your listing or
Login
to upgrade your listing.

If I need to Login to the eYellow Pages web site how do I do that?
Click on the Login button in the upper navigation bar on the Home Page. There, enter your Username and Password. Be sure to write these down so you don’t lose this information. [Note: You can use the same Username and Password that you use to access the District ClubRunner web site as these two systems are entirely separate.]

Once I am logged in what can I do?
When you Login to the District eYellowPages you can update your account or listing data. Your login enables you to update text, links, ads, images, audio or movies, review your statistics, renew or upgrade a listing, improve your listing position and other functions designed to give you the most possible benefit from your listing.

How do I list myself or company?
Click here to list yourself or company,
or click on the Add navigation button in the top navigation bar or the List my Company link on the left navigation bar and provide the contact information requested on the ADD screen.

Are there any required fields?
There are 11 required fields identified with "*": Username, Password,
Confirm Password, First Name, Last Name, Email Address, Zipcode, name of your Rotary Club, Rotary Designation, Listing Category and Challenge Question.

What about privacy concerns regarding my Email address?
To keep your Email address safe from spam this directory uses Stealth EmailTM. All email addresses are 100% protected. No usable email address is ever shown. Instead, all email is sent in the background. This effectively hides 100% of all email addresses used in this directory. Your Email address is not and never will be visible to the public or to search bots. Moreover, it is the policy of our District to not sell or distribute your user name or password ID beyond the district eYellow Pages application.

I am retired and do not wish to publish my home address? Am I required to do so?
No you are not. Listing a Business Address or your Home Address is optional. However, your zipcode is one of the required fields. Remember, a zipcode typically covers many square miles.

What is the difference between "categories" in the eYellowPages site and the Rotary "classifications" system?
There is a huge difference between these two concepts. The District has an estimated 2500 classifications for members. There are only about 10% or 250 Categories available in the eYellow Pages. Think of classifications as micro and categories as macro. Classifications for individual Rotarians must be different in the club they belong to. Moreover, Rotarians select their classifications to help market their business and range of services. It would simply be unwieldy to list all classifications of all the Rotarians in the District, so the number of categories was reduced to a more manageable level. Rather than list every specialty of a field, say Medical Doctor, only one macro category is available. Users can then more more clearly define their specialty — pediatrician, urologist, family practice, internist, etc. — in their individual listing. However, users may suggest additional categories which will be evaluated by a District eYellow Pages Review Board.

Is every Rotarian of this District automatically listed in the eYellow Pages?
Members are not listed unless they give their permission. Thus, the eYellowPages requires every member of this District who wishes to be included on the eYellow Pages to personally enter their personal information themselves.

Can I enhance my business listing to give it more prominence?
You can upgrade your listing with additional features, and purchase online banner ads. To learn more click on

in the top navigation bar. From the Advertise button two advertising opportunities open up: Upgrade my Contact Listing

Online Banner Advertising.

What does "Upgrade my Contact Listing" offer?
This promotional feature allows users to upgrade their listing. Users can upgrade to a Silver, Gold or Sponsor level.

What does "Online Banner Advertising" offer?
This feature allows users to purchase Banner advertising on the eYellow Pages web site. To learn more click on

Where do Online Banner Ads appear on the site?
Banner ads appear in the left and right hand columns on most pages.

What size Online Banner Ads are available?
Ads on this Web site are only available in standard Internet Advertising Bureau size of 180 pixels by 150 pixels. That is approximately 2 ¼ wide by 1 7/8 inches tall. Banner ads can be hot-linked to your company or personal Web site, or to an email address.

How do I pay for my listing upgrade or for my banner advertisement?
The District has implemented a PayPal feature. On the
Internet Banner Ads screen,
click on the Buy Now button and provide your credit card information, or open a new account. Payments will automatically be deposited into a District bank account. Or you can call the District office and give your credit card information. Prepayment of the full upgrade or ad schedule is required before your listing, or any enhancements, can be activated.

How do I submit a banner advertisement to the site?
This site does not allow users to post their own online banner advertisements. Instead, submit your advertisement to us at http://www.ypgeorgiarotary.com/sitewide/contact/index.php. Your advertisement will typically appear in 1 day.

What do upgrades to my listing cost?
Click on the Advertise button in the upper navigation bar, and then click on Upgrading my Contact Information for details about the cost of upgrading your listing.

How long will my banner ad or upgraded listing appear?
The minimum banner ad and upgrade schedule is 12 months.

What are the differences between the Bronze, Silver, Gold and Sponsor listing levels?
The Bronze level only presents the person’s name, home or business address, telephone number, home Rotary club and business category. It is offered free of charge. There is a nominal monthly cost to the other levels. The Silver level adds email capability, web links, a Google map of the business’ location, and a one page Web site featuring greater detail about the business. The Gold level offers enhanced positioning of the listing, all features of the Silver level, MapQuest driving directions, and the Promotions/Coupon Package. The Sponsor level offers a mini website, plus you can add your company logo or personal photo, two online images such as a professionally created advertisement or photograph of your company, a PDF file, an audio/video file, a Power Point presentation, MapQuest driving directions, and a Google map pinpointing your home or business location by zipcode, or by latitude/longitude.

Why is the Bronze listing offered for free?
District leadership recognizes that some Rotarians may wish to be listed, but not to upgrade their listing or purchase advertising. The Bronze category was created to accommodate those desires.

After I purchase my listing upgrade how long does it take before I can see it?
You will receive an email confirmation of the upgraded information you supplied within minutes of Submitting your information. We activate your listing within 1 business day or less after manual confirmation of payment at which point you will receive another email confirmation.

Can I upgrade my listing or purchase an advertisement later? If so, how do I do so?
Yes, you can subsequently upgrade. Click on the
Login button
in the top navigation bar and provide your Username and Password. You will land on the Customer Dashboard. There you can Edit your listing or Edit you account.

Do I receive confirmation of any changes I make to my listing?
Yes, you receive Email confirmations from us for changes to the listing description or listing title.

The Customer Dashboard features three menus: Welcome, Work with Listings, and Work with Account. Welcome gives a brief explanation of how several features offer opportunities to showcase your business.

What does the "Work with Listings" menu offer?
- In this menu, when you wish to
Edit
your company listing click on the slender pencil graphic on screen, and a second screen titled Retrieve Listing: Choose Listing appears. This screen displays a 2nd pencil graphic, your business category, Ckey number (this number is unique to your listing), type of listing, status of entry and expiration date appear. Click on the second pencil and a screen titled "Make Text Changes" appears. Here, you can modify your ad title, edit or re-write your company description, and add up to two additional URL addresses linking to your business. Click on Save Changes.

Upgrade
permits you to upgrade your business listing from Bronze to Silver, or Gold or full Sponsor level. When you click on the Upgrade Listing button you will be given several payment and contract duration options. Click on Next Step to continue the process.

Keywords
make it easy for visitors to find your business. It allows you to enter five keyword pertinent to your business. Users can search for your listing by keyword.

Service + ANT BAT CAT
permits you to enter additional business offerings to show customers your other products or services, and enhance your business visibility and potential.

Lat/Long
pinpoints your business for others to find. It allows you to enter the latitude and longitude of your business location, though for the most part your zipcode does the same thing. A link is provided to a Google mapping feature if you need assistance finding your latitude or longitude.

ADD
allows registered Rotarians to add a second or third company or business enterprise they own.

Images & Files > Listings.
This powerful feature allows you to enhance your company listing by adding logos, several photo images, a PDF file, video/audio and a Power Point presentation. These enhancements appear on your mini website on the eYellow pages.

What does the "Work with Account" menu offer?

Edit
is identical to the Edit feature in Work with Listings. Except here you edit your personal account.

Clickthru > Listing
allows you to see the clickthrus to your mini Webpage on Rotary eYellowPages.

Promotions
allow you to establish various discount coupons for your business.

Webmaster
permits you to send feedback to Rotary eYellow Pages.

Logout
returns you to the New and Recently Updated screen.

After I save changes to my listing but the changes do not appear on screen. Why not?
You are displaying an earlier version of the screen from the cache file on your hard drive. Delete the old cache file and hit the refresh button (F5 in Windows and Reload Page or Command R in Mac.)
- I entered my latitude & longitude (example 33.837503, 118.379994) but the map is wrong. What do I do?
You MUST place a minus character in the longitude for any North American location. This is because -118.379994 is west of the Greenwich longitude meridian, and is different from 118.379994 which is EAST of the meridian. To indicate a west longitude REQUIRES that the negative character '-' be placed in front of the longitude number.

How can I change the primary business Category?
The primary category can be changed by contacting the webmaster. The webmaster preserves the
balance of states, categories and allowed listing types and numbers of listings as set in Admin > Settings.
The webmaster can change the primary category by using Manager > Work with Single Listing.
